The jades from the Marsden area of New Zealand are amongst our finest jades.

This is quite a lovely specimen having great colours, translucency and is very hard jade.

This toki is 8.7cm long and 3.1cm widest.

Description

This is a nice ‘Marsden’ jade I have carved into a toki/adze form.

I have used the Yellow rind to create a contrast to the green heart and there are yellow ‘feathers’ running down the right side.

A very hard jade, nicely translucent and one self collected many years ago.

This toki is 8.7cm long and 3.1cm widest.
