Jade Double Twist – Pikorua

A twist/infinity twist, (also called Pikorua) carved from a striking rich green New Zealand jade/pounamu of the kawakawa type. Typically for these stones there are some black spots scattered through the stone. They suit these darker stones well.
This stone is a self collected jade from many years ago and is amongst the darker jades I have found. It is not west coast jade! I remember it not so fondly as it broke the strap on my backpack and I had a difficult lug to get it back to the car.
Pendant is 6.9 cm high and 2.9cm at the widest point.
The cord is adjustable.
