Jade Triquetra Celtic Knot

Description

A Celtic knot in triquetra form carved from a beautiful light green New Zealand jade with bright green inclusions of chrome diopside.The background stone is a light inanga jade with swirls of green and the brighter chrome diopside distributed through it.

Beautifully translucent jade, it has a lovely glow with the light through it.

I do like carving these celtic knots even though they are time consuming! My grandfather was English and it feels a bit like I am honoring him and my relationship with him.

Self collected way back this stone was hard work as I had a near vertical hill to climb to get back to the car! It was over 70lbs which wouldn’t have been so bad if the route was flat.

This carving is 5.8cm high and 6.3cm point to point.

The cord is adjustable to suit by sliding the knots for length.
