’Quaternary’ Jade Celtic Knot

A Celtic knot carved from a lovely lighter green New Zealand jade in a 4 lobed pattern called a quaternary knot.

A tricky carving, especially clearing and polishing the crossovers but well worth the effort it took in the end!

Out of stock

A Celtic knot carved in a quaternary pattern from a lovely lighter green New Zealand jade with contrasting black flecks and brighter green splashes of chrome diopside.

There are some unusual grey lines through this stone (most visible backlit), they are just lines and not cracks! I think they are an interesting feature of this beautiful jade.

Another self collected jade which I only cut recently, it is beautiful stone to work and I am enjoying this one a lot!

This carving is 6.4cm high and 6.4cm wide.

The cord is adjustable.
