New Zealand Jade Toki

This pendant is carved as an adze form known as Toki from a very beautiful New Zealand jade.

It is a lovely darkish green with some scattered black flecks. It is a lovely stone to work. The olive-brown on the back is the transition between the rind and heart.

This jade is self collected and is one of the darker stones I have found.

This striking pendant is 8.4cm high and 2.2cm widest.

The cord has sliding knots to allow adjustment to suit.
