This toki (adze) pendant is carved from a very beautifully coloured New Zealand Marsden Flower jade.
One I only recently cut, I am enjoying using it – it is a very lovely jade
New Zealand jade from the Marsden area is revered as some of our most beautiful stone…this is certainly a beautiful example.
This striking pendant is 7.8cm high and 2.7cm widest.
The cord has sliding knots to allow adjustment to suit.

Description
This toki (adze) pendant is carved from a very beautiful New Zealand Marsden jade.
With the yellow markings swirling through the stone I think it is best described as a flower jade.
New Zealand jade from the Marsden area is revered as some of our most beautiful stone…this is certainly a beautiful example. I have had this stone for many years and only recently slabbed it up.
This striking pendant is 8.1cm high and 2.1cm widest.
