Jade Lashed Toki

The toki/chisel is seen as a tool to help overcome the dross of life.

This jade toki (adze) pendant is carved from a striking dark green New Zealand kawakawa jade.

Self collected and one of the darker stones I have found.

It has a traditional lashing connecting the carving to the cord which is adjustable.

This pendant is 7.7cm high and 2.8cm wide.
