Jade Double Twist – Pikorua
$390.00
A twist/infinity twist, (also called Pikorua – and more recently I see it called Rau kumara) carved from a lovely light green New Zealand jade/pounamu liberally speckled with black flecks.
I met the chap who designed these way back in the 1960’s and they were based on the infinity symbol, as often happens things change with the passing of time and memories fade.
The modern symbology has come to refer to the connection between people.
A self collected stone this jade is a rare beauty and having only cut it in recent times I am thoroughly enjoying working with it!
Pendant is 6.2cm high and 2.7cm at widest point.
The cord is adjustable.
