Pointed Lashed Jade Toki

The toki as a tool (adze) is used for carving and as a symbol represents the cutting through obstructions on the journey of life.

This jade is particularly beautiful and makes a beautiful pendant.

This lashed ‘toki’ (adze) has a pointed end as variation from the norm.

It is carved from a lovely New Zealand jade! Very translucent with fine specks of metallic inclusions of gold or pyrite. Have not had them tested.

The pendant has a traditional binding lashed to the top.

A self collected stone from many years ago. Unfortunately there is not a lot of it left now, I like it too much!

This pendant is 5.7cm long by 2.4cm widest.

Dimensions 2.4 × 5.7 cm
