Marsden Jade Roimata

This pendant is carved as a teardrop or Roimata from a very beautiful New Zealand Marsden jade. It is a lovely deep green with a mottled pattern.

This piece is from the very heart of this jade. I have had this stone for many years and only recently slabbed it up.

New Zealand jade from the Marsden area is revered as some of our most beautiful stone…this is certainly a beautiful example.

This striking pendant is 7.9cm high and 2.2cm widest.

The cord has sliding knots to allow adjustment to suit.
