This lashed toki is carved from a piece of New Zealand jade, mid-green in colour liberally flecked with black spots.
A pleasing stone and another I have collected myself many years ago. Found in an area not renowned for jade, a lot of these stones have the black fleck inclusions.
It is lashed with a traditional lashing on the top of the pendant and the cord is adjustable.
This pendant is 6.3cm long by 3cm widest.
