This jade toki (adze) pendant is carved from a lovely darker green New Zealand jade. There are scattered black inclusions and shiny flecks which are incuded pyrite – fools gold.
The stone is a self collected one and one of the darker ones I have found.
The top of the pendant is lashed in a traditional style.
This pendant is 8.3cm long and 2.4cm widest.
The cord has knots that slide to adjust for length.
