Light Green Jade Lashed Toki

This lashed New Zealand jade toki (adze) is carved from a beautiful light green jade with a smudge of the white rind along the blade as an accent. There are some black flecks which make a nice contrast as well.

It is a lovely bright green stone and one I found myself many years ago. The bright white rind is quite rare and is a hallmark of a quality jade like this stone is.

The cord is adjustable, the double knots can slide to adjust to whatever length suits.

The lashing is a traditional form and adds style to the toki.

This pendant is 10.3cm long x 2.1cm wide.
